I've been owned by cats for 23 years now. I always find it amusing when people think cats are aloof. They're far from aloof.
As I type this I have a ball of fluff named Angie draped across my lap, very annoyed that there's also a laptop computer in the way.
Also when people says cats won't come when you call 'em. Mine do, and I call 'em by name.
And they say how dogs greet you at the door when you come home, but my cat Tuxedo greets me at the door every night, then comes back with me while I change my clothes and sits on the top shelf of the closet and we have a lovely chat.
Hmmmm......I might be crazy.
